Razzleberry Color Embossing

I have been wanting to try my hand at color embossing after I saw how beautiful it looked on fellow SUO Blogger #8, PonyGirl40Stamps blog. Basically it is inking up the embossing folder before running your cardstock through the Big Shot. It gives a soft shaded or worn look that really is so pretty. It took me a couple of tries to get it right but it really is simple. I made this card for my wonderful mil's birthday. She's a fellow purple lover so I enjoyed using these colors. The kissing technique was also used on the Medallion background stamp. I inked it up in Pale Plum and then inked up the Bella Toile background stamp in Rich Razzleberry. I then stamped Bella Toile on top of the Medallion stamp and then stamped it on Whisper White card stock. Whew! Got all that?! If you click on the image you will see the deets much better. Thanks for looking!

I love, love, LOVE this card! You did the color embossing so well and I love the kissing with Bella Toile on the Medallion stamp -- I'm going to have to try that.

My favorite colors -- I love this. I always forget how beautiful the Kissing Technique is, and really need to try it more often.
