Springy Club Cards

These are the two cards we made at April's Stamp Club. I was thinking "Mother's Day" when I made them but they are so perfect for Spring too. I love monotone colors....its simplistic but elegant. You can click on the photos to enlarge them and see the details more clearly.

I got my inspiration for this card from one of my favorite blogs, This n' That. Gretchen Clark make the prettiest cards. I love everything she does.

I L-O-V-E the Filigree Brads. They are so pretty and add so much to a project.

I used the new Scallop Oval Punch and the Large Oval Punch for the sentiment. Love how they nest....I want more sizes now! Hopefully SU! will offer them someday soon. Accessories: Large Oval, Scallop Oval & 1 1/4" Circle Punches, Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads, So Saffron 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Paper Snips, Dimensionals

March Featured Project

Every month Stampin' Up! features a project for us to make and use for demonstrations and inspiration. I love this month's card mainly because of the butterflies. I am so ready for Spring weather to really be here for good! This card is also super easy to make but doesn't look like it was....my kind of card!

Supplies

Stamps: Great Friend (Occasions Mini Catalog)

Paper: Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss & Whisper White

Ink: Basic Gray, Baja Breeze & Kiwi Kiss

Accessories: Stampin' Dimensionals, Summer Love Rub-Ons (Occasions Mini Catalog)

Instructions:

1. Apply flower rub-on to Baja Breeze card stock using wooden stick included with rub-ons assortment. Adhere to Kiwi Kiss card.
2. Stamp "Thank You" in Basic Gray ink on Whisper White card stock. Apply leaf rub-on to Whisper White card stock. Adhere to card.
3. Stamp butterfly image in Baja Breeze ink on separate Whisper White card stock. Trim closely. Adhere to card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
4. Repeat step 3 using Basic Gray ink and Kiwi Kiss ink.

Stamp Club Girls

We have great fun at our Stamp Club - lots of silliness and laughter. I hope my club ladies don't mind me sharing these pics of them because it really captures what our get togethers are like.

Another Baby Card

Here's a baby boy card I made for a coworker who was blessed with another grandson. Once again, I used the All In The Family set and my newest purchase, Family Phrases, which is a set that coordinates with it. I'll *try* to show something using other stamp sets soon lol! I don't think my love for this set will be over any time soon though! : D

Occasions Mini Catalog

Today is the first day you can order from the Occasions Mini Catalog. As a demonstrator, I was able to preview the catalog and preorder some of the goodies. One of the things I got was the new scallop oval punch. Its awesome and coordinates with the small and large oval punches from the big catalog. It also coordinates with a new stamp set from the mini catalog, Oval Alls. I love that whole matchy-matchy thing that Stampin' Up is known for. It makes projects easy and look so good.
